Welcome to riding tours in magnificent terrain on Venabygdsfjellet in Gudbrandsdalen! Venavind organizes everything from riding camps for both children and adults, rental rounds, pony races, hourly trips to longer day trips throughout the summer and autumn. We also invite you to help groom and saddle the horse even before the ride, and our experienced riding instructors, stable girls and guides take you on a completely unique experience in the Norwegian mountain home. Choose to stay overnight at Spidsbergseter Resort Rondane on Venabygdsfjellet in Gudbrandsdalen, the stables are only 200 meters from the hotel, or just join the riding!
Most of the rides are offered daily and are as follows:

Beginner tour (40 minutes, from 7 years and up) NOK 650
1-hour trip (from 8 years) NOK 750
1 1/2-hour trip NOK 800
2-hour tour (from 12 years / 10 years for experienced riders) NOK 875
Half-day trip (from 10 years) NOK 1,100
4-hour tour (from 12 years) NOK 1,300
Half-day trip w/ a break along the way and your own lunch (from 10 years) NOK 1,300
Full-day tour (Experienced riders, from 12 years) NOK 1,500

Equipment:
We have helmets to lend if you don’t have one yourself. We have some safety vests for loan, if anyone wants to use them. (It is not a requirement.) It is desirable that you ride in long trousers, to avoid chafing from the saddle and harness. It is desirable that you wear gloves, so you avoid chafing from the reins. It is desirable that you wear footwear with a heel, so you avoid getting stuck in the stirrup. All saddles have safety bars, so they can be released if necessary. Bring clothes according to the weather, and be prepared for changes in temperature, sun, rain and wind. Parking: Parking is at the hotel at Spidsbergseter Resort Rondane, Flaksjølivegen 82, 2632 Venabygd, the stables are located approx. 300 meters from the hotel. Meeting is at the stables.
If you have not already sent us this, we would like to know the following when registering for trips: Name of participant(s). Age. Approx weight and height. Experience. E-mail address. Telephone number. Want to participate in care and saddle up or not.
Cancellation:
Bookings must be canceled within 24 hours before, otherwise the trip will be invoiced in full.
Insurance:
Venavind AS has liability insurance for our services. Participation in horse activities is at your own risk. You yourself are responsible for having accident and/or travel insurance that covers riding/horse activities.
Damages are covered if Venavind AS has acted negligently. This does not apply if a horse stumbles or splashes to the side, you are stepped on or the like. We deal with live animals, and we instruct and act according to all the precautions we can.
Photography:
By signing up a participant for riding activities with Venavind AS, you also approve that Venavind AS and their partners can come and photograph or film during riding and horse activity, and that these images can be used in our advertising and marketing material afterwards, both in printed and digital, social media. If this is not okay, we must be told in advance, and we of course respect that.
